About TR FLOW

TR FLOW is independent browser software for transferring sounds and editing patterns with a compatible Roland TR-8S. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roland Corporation. Roland and TR-8S are trademarks of their respective owner.

Trial and technical requirements

The presentation demo is available without an account. Hardware trial use requires verified email sign-in, a compatible desktop browser with Web MIDI/SysEx, an internet connection and a USB-connected TR-8S. The trial allows five minutes of connected editing per account, up to eight transfer attempts, and personal WAV uploads in the first five instrument slots. Save/export and personal MIDI import are unavailable in the trial. The trial limits shown on the product page form part of this description.

Protect your hardware data

Transfers write to the kit and pattern slots you select and can overwrite existing contents. Back up important material and choose test slots before transferring. Follow device prompts and stop playback when required. You remain responsible for choosing the intended device and destination slots.

Permitted use

Use sounds and files that you own or are authorized to use. Do not abuse the service, interfere with other users, evade access limits or share an account to bypass licensing. One active browser session per account is supported. You retain ownership of your original sounds and patterns.

Purchases and consumer rights

Paid checkout is not yet enabled. The advertised full-access price is a one-time €24.99, VAT included, with no subscription. Before purchases open, applicable checkout terms and the scope of paid access will be presented. This page does not waive statutory consumer rights, impose a blanket no-refund rule or promise lifetime hosting or updates. When enabled, Paddle handles checkout and payment-related processes; the applicable seller information and terms are displayed at checkout.

Availability and support

Compatibility depends on your browser, operating system, device firmware and MIDI configuration. Maintenance or third-party outages may interrupt availability. Contact us about problems; nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
